Business Finance Analyst II (Finance)



Schneider Electric Buildings Americas, Inc. seeks a Business Finance Analyst II in Foxboro, MA.

Job Description: This position provides business finance analysis in support of the Sustainability business of Schneider Electric US operations by performing the following detailed responsibilities: Act as Business Partner with regional sales and operations Vice Presidents to ensure the financial management of the P&L. Lead the end-to-end commission process and calculation for the business, engaging with technical team as well as the business. Perform full P&L Review with management during the closing period. Oversee implementation of 179D tax program in the P&L. Support and challenge business partners on forecasts and assumptions by leading LOB financial reviews and monitoring overdue payments. Prepare rolling forecast and analyze monthly variances (Topline, GM, headcount, SFC). Reconcile payroll entries with forecast assumptions. Analyze labor rates, utilization, and operations absorption. Prepare supporting documentation for cycle audits and booking lift methodology (internal and external). Ensure accurate monthly forecasts are loaded in PCIS tool and reconcile actual reporting within HFM, Datamart and Tableau. Monitor and report on booked vs delivered margins. Conduct Balance sheet reviews to ensure all provisions are accurately declared. Identify and Action process improvement initiatives. Position eligible for up to 3 days remote work per week.

Requirements: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting or a related field, and progressive, post-Bachelor's experience (4 years with Master's or 6 years with Bachelor's) in financial analysis or related finance occupation in an Energy Services Company (ESCO), which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Providing financial analysis for an Energy Services Company (ESCO) within the Sustainability sector, including POC, Analysis Change, and efficiency projects) using key systems (Project Control Information System, Tableau, MS Dynamics, HFM super user); Leading the end-to-end commission process, calculation, and analysis for the business; Partnering with Payroll to submit commission payments and ensure accuracy; Performing full business P&L review with management during monthly closing process to ensure accuracy before close is finalized (Day +1, Day +2); Conducting financial analysis for sustainability projects, considering market trends, regulatory requirements, and strategic positioning; Implementing 179D tax deduction in the Performance Contracting business; Challenging executive-level business partners (Sales, Operations, Engineering) on forecasts and assumptions (test assumptions on pipeline probability and sales delivery schedule); Analyzing headcount analysis to align with future growth assumptions, Labor rate calculation and utilization analysis; and Working with Internal & External Auditors to provide documentation and supporting evidence.
