  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Supply chain, operations management or computer science degrees are preferred.
  • One year in a supply chain environment required. Minimum of three years in a supply chain environment preferred. Certification by APICS/NAPM is highly desirable.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data, interpret and provide conclusions/solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of both traditional materials management and innovative supply chain concepts.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively with both company and supplier personnel.
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple work assignments in diverse fields with minimal direction and supervision.
Overview

Develop and implement systems to support establishing, maintaining and improving the business supply chain from vendor to customer. Develop and implement operations and purchasing schedules to ensure a timely flow of product to customers throughout the Americas markets and international distribution locations. Negotiate delivery with vendors to ensure that inventory levels are optimized to an investment level agreed to by the business. Manage work-in-process and finished goods inventories to ensure on-time deliveries while supporting the target service level. Develop efficient distribution chains that efficiently promote product flows to remote locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop forecast demands in conjunction with Sales & Marketing management to create a master plan for all supply chain activities, which encompasses total product flows from vendors through customers.
  • Establish and continuously improve a systematic forecasting, production scheduling, and inventory planning system within the ERP system, ensure that system data is maintained in a highly accurate manner and train users on inventory management features.
  • Maintain and continuously improve a systematic inventory level setting process that results in predictable and appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Establish daily/weekly/monthly reporting process to measure planning performance and report those in a timely basis to the appropriate audience.
  • Respond to Customer Service with quotes on lead times for product as well as tracking parts.
  • Purchase finished products and components from both sister HFS locations and from third parties to support the supply chain master plan.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improved supply chain performance.
  • Track receipt, storage and distribution of materials, components and finished goods, supporting efficient product flow to support customer delivery requirement.
  • Participate in development of lean manufacturing pull systems where applicable, in consultation with manufacturing management and vendors.
  • Work closely with internal and external distributors to maintain cost-efficient and effective product distribution activities while minimizing inventory investment.
  • Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Guide to Business Conduct and actively supports the ASAT corporate governance system.
  • Maintain Safety Stock and Reorder points bi-annually to keep up with changing demand for Finished Goods items as well as Satellite Warehouses.
  • Maintain quarterly cost roll so we can maintain accurate sales margins on Finished Good products sold.
  • Enter supplier invoices into Oracle system for payment of Finished Goods.
  • Maintain accurate planned delivery dates in Baan so CSR Team can communicate correctly to customers as to when parts will be available to ship.
  • Communicate shipping discrepancies back to suppliers and apply credits as needed.
  • Update ERP system with new pricing from all suppliers.
  • Maintain and report on HTS and COO.
  • Maintain in-transit logs for end of month reporting.
  • Complete ASATs as determined by HFS schedule.
  • Monitor excess inventory or items coming up on excess and work to offload.
