Sr Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist (Finance)

You will report directly to our R&D Manager, and you will work out of our Plymouth, MN location. This role is eligible for a hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall R&D strategy in alignment with the company's business goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the long-term direction of the R&D function.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the R&D organization.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple R&D projects simultaneously.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $132,000 - $168,000 and for Freeport, IL is $124,000 - $155,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years of experience leading research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and project management.
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles
