Facilities (Sanitation) Supervisor - Hilton San Francisco Union Square (Finance)




The Hilton San Francisco Union Square is looking to hire Facilities (Sanitation) Supervisor! You will be responsible the overall set-up and clean-up of banquet functions throughout the facility as well as to ensure safe and proper operation.

Our property has 1,921 guest rooms, 44 meeting spaces and 150,000+ square feet of event space. Located just off Union Square and close to Moscone Convention Center, have easy access to the best of the city.

Hourly range for this role is $26.05 - $34.73.

Classification: Full Time

Shift: Varies AM/PM and to include weekends and holidays.

Ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Availability to work a varied schedule: mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to write and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish is essential to the role.
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment with forces up to 75 - 100lbs.
  • At least 2 years previous hotel experience with knowledge on sanitation standards.

What will I be doing:

As a Facilities (Sanitation) Supervisor, you would be responsible for the overall set-up and clean-up of banquet functions throughout the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Assists with setting-up tables and chairs to meet the function specifications.
  • Cleans meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events.
  • Vacuums, sweeps, mops, polishes, wipes other areas clean before during and after events.
  • Trains, supervises, schedules, and assists in evaluating staff.
