Lead Data Entry Pharmacy Technician (Healthcare)

Responsibilities:
Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Supervisor.Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Data Entry, Refill, Customer Service, and Narcotics departments.Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties, delegated tasks, and proper cut-off times and deadlines.Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.Communicate any staffing needs or issues with the Data Entry Supervisor.Investigate and resolve problems and issues related to orders.Ensure that specialized queues are maintained (e.g., Pending, Backup).Provide on-the-job training for new hires when necessary.Stay informed by attending department in-services and keeping up with changes in local, state, federal, and company laws and regulations.Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.Complete daily tasks such as OTC Report, Duplicate Report, etc.Perform other duties as requested.
Shift:2:30pm-11pm Monday through Friday or 2:30pm-11pm Every Saturday and Sunday (3 week days for full-time)
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy.Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is desired.Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.Must be able to multitask and be reliable.Familiarity with SIG codes.Quick typing skills.Computer literate; knowledge of Frameworks LTC system is a plus.
