Business Markets Account Specialist (Administrative)

Job Summary

As a member of the Account Service Management team an ability to research and analyze complicated product invoicing and issues, provide effective and concise communication across internal and external clients, and understanding of the balance between customer satisfaction and financial bottom line is key to success. This position will act in a lead capacity and will assist the Supervisor or Manager by providing subject matter expertise to other ASMs while diagnosing problems and managing the issue resolution process. Expectation for providing exceptional customer service for large business customers and internal sales teams exists, as well as maintaining high SLA .

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

•Supports Manager/Supervisor with obtaining  Large Business Operations (LBO) and ASM specific objectives by utilizing appropriate peer management activities
•Serves as Subject Matter Expert for our extended sales teams and LBO Management during the contracting bid process to ensure that all requested service levels can be met upon contract execution
•Owns, monitors and reports on assigned monthly compliance controls
•Oversees and maintains complex relationships with both internal and external customers through the review of products, services, contractual terms and conditions, billing policies and payment options
•Researches and resolves complicated issues and provide customers with detailed analysis, explanations and reconciliations on contract information
•Initiates needed changes to complex customer contracts (add/delete/etc) and completes assigned service requests timely and within SL expectations
•Work simultaneously in multiple systems, databases, office programs and online solutions including but not limited to SAP, Access, Excel, various online repositories
•Works cross-functionally with Sales, Analytics, Billing, Marketing and Revenue Operations to ensure high performance standards and service goals are being met
•Negotiates, approves and/or recommends billing adjustments after conducting thorough analysis and in accordance with corporate Delegation of Authority processes

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

•2+ years experience providing verbal and written customer support
•2+ years root cause analysis and critical thinking experience
•Possesses and utilizes strong analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
•Workable understanding of applicable power market and pricing fundamentals
•Strong verbal and written communication customer service skills
•Strong decision-making abilities and negotiating skills
•Strong understanding and comprehension of market-related transactions; Texas Electric Market and ERCOT preferred
•SAP experience preferred
•Utilization of MS Office tools
•Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
