Technology Executive Assistant (Hybrid) (Finance)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Executive Assistant to support our incoming Business Technology Officer (BTO), who will be joining Prudential in September, as well as our established VP and Tech Leads already embedded within the organization. This role is ideal for a dynamic and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment and is passionate about supporting technology leadership. The Executive Assistant will be expected to exercise superior judgment based on in-depth experience, maximize the efficient use of time on behalf of the leaders, and develop strong collaborative relationships across multiple constituents to drive initiatives forward. While the hiring manager will play a key role in the selection process, this position will report directly to the BTO and support other senior technology leader direct reports.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid (Newark) and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business.

What You Can Expect:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the BTO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and expense processing.
  • Act as a liaison between the BTO and internal/external stakeholders, including technology vendors, engineering teams, and executive leadership.
  • Maintaining a regular open line of communication with the executives to jointly manage strategic priorities, time management, calendaring, meetings with partners, assisting with various approvals, and all other priorities
  • Manage logistics for virtual and in-person meetings, including tech setup, documentation, and follow-ups.
  • Support the BTO in preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration platforms.
  • Proactively manage complex travel arrangements and itineraries, anticipating changes and resolving conflicts.
  • Monitor and triage emails and communications, responding or escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

What You'll Need:

  • 7+ years of administrative experience supporting senior executives, preferably in a technology or innovation-focused environment.
  • High level of comfort with digital tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; pride in maintaining an exemplary executive calendar; strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organization, meeting planning, and project management skills with the ability to effectively juggle multiple high-level priorities
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and anticipate executive needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience supporting leaders with different working styles.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed and adapt to shifting priorities in a tech-driven environment.

It'd Be a Plus If You Had:

  • Prior experience in a technology, financial services, or insurance organization.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or experience supporting product/engineering teams.
  • Exposure to IT operations, cybersecurity, or digital transformation initiatives

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $69,200.00 to $103,000.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
