Director IT, GenAI, Data & Analytics (Finance)

You will report directly to our Sr. Director Data & Architecture and you will work out one of our Morris Plains, NJ/Houston, TX/Charlotte, NC locations on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on Advanced Material, Honeywell by optimizing processes, ensuring high data fidelity and security, and driving digital transformation. Your expertise in data & analytics strategy, project management, and technology solutions will lead to increased efficiency, cost savings, and improved business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the GenAI, Data & Analytics function to drive the development and implementation of solutions to optimize business processes and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Data Management: Develop and improve data management capabilities, ensuring the quality and value of critical business data to meet regulatory requirements and drive the growth agenda.
  • Analytics and Insights: Apply analytics to gain actionable insights and drive business and operational decision-making.
  • Evangelize the benefits of leveraging analytics across the organization to accelerate adoption.
  • Data Governance: Develop and be responsible for Data Governance, Quality, and Lifecycle management capabilities for customer, product, material, and vendor master and other critical data constructs. Define data standards and best practices to ensure data quality, consistency and security.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting requirements, ensure data integrity, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Innovation and Adoption: Promote the adoption of advanced technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to enhance business processes and decision-making.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the integrity, security, and confidentiality of both consumer and corporate information.
  • Training and Development: Train and facilitate end-users in utilizing reporting tools and systems and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in reporting and analytics.
  • Drive strategy to build effective teams ensuring talent strategies and succession planning are in place

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
