The Federal Vertical/Domain Consultant for Government Solutions will help drive the creation and implementation of revenue-generating solutions. This role involves leveraging existing products to address customer needs, translating business requirements from sales, developing market knowledge, and delivering customer-facing reports. The consultant will also gather market intelligence, lead the development of value propositions, participate in customer meetings as an expert, and recommend best practices for product and process improvement.
What you'll do:
Drive ideation, elaboration, construction, and implementation of overall vertical revenue enablement data solutions to support the Government Solutions business
Leverage existing data products and distribution channels to deliver differentiated data-driven solutions/bundles to address the industry solutions needs of customers
Translate detailed business requirements from sales teams for industry solutions that solve client needs
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings, markets, current market share, competition and strategy to secure new business.
Deliver customer-facing and internal data assets/reports that will enable revenue retention and drive customer growth.
Gather total addressable market opportunity and market competitive intelligence to qualify opportunities
Lead and collaborate on development of value proposition to include metrics and responsible for aligning go to market plan with Marketing
Participant on customer calls and meetings as the industry expert to understand customer needs and solutioning
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
Gains deep and comprehensive perspective on industry challenges by networking with experienced industry peers and colleagues within own area of expertise
What experience you need:
7-10 years of experience working in a Client-facing role, ideally in a consulting or account management role at a technology company dealing with the C-suite level within the client as well as internal, or
7-10 years of experience working in operations/case management/applicant facing role in federal or state government
Experience providing support to federal or state government programs, including social services (health, household assistance, social security insurance programs), unemployment insurance, and other means-tested programs.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
