Job Description
Primary Function of Position

The Make Center of Excellence (COE) Business Systems Analyst is an integral part of the Global Operations team, tasked with leading strategic projects that optimize operational efficiency at Intuitive. This role's main responsibility will be to provide guidance, establish business requirements, and partner with collaborators, including IT teams, to drive SAP S4 Hana transformation. This position is to drive innovation and foster continuous improvement in SAP systems, application development processes, and Industry 4.0 technologies, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging industry standards. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge in SAP and production process optimization, along with technical proficiency and the ability to guide teams in adopting new SAP-driven technologies and processes.

Essential Job Duties

  • Drive the design, development, and implementation of SAP-enabled business processes, closely partnering with IT teams, with a focus on Manufacturing
  • Provide both functional and technical expertise in SAP S4 implementation, ensuring SAP solutions align with business and technical requirements.
  • Adopt SCOR-based framework in cross-functional blueprinting efforts
  • Head efforts in data collection, process mapping, and decision making to identify operational gaps and implement solutions that enhance business system capabilities.
  • Oversee the testing and validation of SAP functionalities to ensure system integrity and compliance.
  • Drive sustainment and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and business outcomes.
  • Interface with a team of IT, process owners, analysts, and collaborators to optimize SAP adoption and utilization.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and operational excellence within SAP processes.
  • Provide leadership in developing, implementing, and managing SAP solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and elevating customer satisfaction.
  • Land the initial pilot rollout and then help drive global solution adoption and process harmonization on future rollouts
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process automation and optimization through strategic system integration with SAP S4 and SAP ME, to streamline manufacturing processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP business process management within Manufacturing, Engineering, or Supply Chain environment
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, information technology or related discipline
  • Experience with SAP ME, Signavio, and working with SAP Fiori applications to enhance the user experience for operations
  • Experience in implementing digital initiatives (i.e. SAP, Oracle) for supply chain operations, with a focus on technology integration and process improvement
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies and types (batch, serialized, high volume/low mix, low volume/high mix)
  • Deep knowledge of end-to-end business processes in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to run cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

  • Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to influence and engage contributors at all levels.
  • Exceptional data and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with advanced technologies such as AI and IoT in a supply chain context.
  • Experience working for a global organization across multiple functions and regions.
  • Demonstrated application of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies in operational environments
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $144.200 USD - $207.400 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $122.500 USD - $176.300 USD
