Leidos QTC Health Services is seeking a Product Domain Lead to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions team. In this dynamic role, you'll lead the vision, strategy, and full lifecycle development of cutting-edge technology platforms that support millions of healthcare interactions annually, while guiding cross-functional teams and championing best-in-class user experience and scalability.

The Product Domain Solution Lead is a hands-on role that requires strong technical product management skills and leadership abilities reporting the Product Domain Lead. They define the vision and roadmap for the solutions in their domain to achieve the end-to-end domain specific business outcomes.

We are looking for a Product Domain lead for our Clinical Workflow Domain, responsible for the strategy, transformation and ongoing operations & support of the domain specific capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Domain Capability Strategy:
    • Develops and aligns the domain specific vision and market opportunities with the broader Leidos QTC Health Services vision and market opportunities
    • Defines the essential functions of the domain specific products and process used to prioritize and validate the features within each application, system component and /or tool
    • Defines and maintains their product domain solution catalog and roadmap
    • Champions the use of common source components versus building duplicate functionalities, reducing technical debt while driving new capabilities.
  • Product Development and Operations Oversight
    • Oversees the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to development, testing, integrated testing, launch, upgrade/updates and retirement.
    • Manages timelines, budgets, resources and both direct and cross-functional teams to ensure the product is delivered on time and within scope
    • Ensures the build of robust and scalable product solutions that meets the needs of the applications over time, ensuring reliability and high service availability
    • Collaborates with developers, other engineering teams, and senior management to understand their needs and ensure that the product domain solutions meet their requirements
    • Incorporates security best practices and compliance standards to ensure that applications are deployed and managed securely
    • Understands and validates customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes then translates them into key features/ requirements using value engineering techniques to inform prioritization and roadmap activities.
    • Maximizes the development team's ability to deliver quickly and respond to emerging requirements.
    • Fosters effective communication with team members for status updates and issue reporting
    • Fosters collaboration and communication that ensure all teams work towards the same objectives and that the product development process is cohesive and efficient.
    • Act as a bridge between the other product domain, CIO and platform system teams.
    • Provides timely and accurate updates to the Integrated Transformation Management Office and participates in the end-to-end prioritization and roadmap development activities across the product portfolio.
  • User Experience and Stakeholder Management
    • Ensure the product solves real problems and delivers compelling user experience in the most cost-effective and efficient manner
    • Prioritizes the customer and operations (Business) user experience, gathering and analyzing user feedback to continuously improve
    • Communicates with stakeholders, including executives, Transformation Management Office, CIO/CTO departments to provide updates on product progress, gather feedback, and align expectations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 14+ year's relevant experience required. Four additional years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Low/No Code: Hands-on experience delivering products using low/no code platforms like Salesforce.
  • DevOps Principles: Familiar with DevOps practices and understand how to apply them to improve software development and delivery.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • COTS Integration and Optimization: Experience integrating COTS solutions and augmenting complementary capabilities
  • Transformation: Experience managing transformation programs including but not limited to cloud migrations, monolithic to COTS / low code / no code conversions

Additional Information:

  • Location: Remote or Hybrid (Preferred proximity to a Leidos QTC location for occasional in-person collaboration)
  • Travel: Minimal, as needed for strategic collaboration or technical assessments
  • Shift: Standard business hours
  • Training: Comprehensive onboarding and domain-specific training provided
