What you'll do:

The Logistics Manager provides leadership, coaching, development & daily support their direct reports to ensure all operational activities within the daily operations are performed in a safe, cGMP compliant manner, is aware of the Site safety objectives and making sure these are communicated and understood by all staff. Implement strategies to enhance the Warehouse & Logistics operation while ensuring alignment to site, sector and company goals. Define and implement procedures and policies within Warehouse operation to ensure audit/ inspection readiness at all times.

  • Effectively manage groups within Warehouse and Receiving operations to ensure all customer and regulatory requirements are met and are performed in a safe compliant manner. Address escalations and implement mitigations to operational issues.
  • Provide active people management as well as development opportunities and coaching to employees through focused recognition and feedback
  • Spearheading and implementation of department breakthrough projects and supports a culture of continuous improvement throughout the department.
  • Ensure the Warehouse/ Receiving areas are inspection ready at all times.
  • Perform other duties as identified by management

Key Requirements:

  • BS/ BA Business or Science preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years Supply Chain/ Warehouse/ Logistics, 4 years people leadership, GMP preferred
  • SAP experience preferred, knowledge of working in a GMP Supply Chain operation, experienced in budget management
  • Computer skills using MS Office
  • Proven people leadership, project management, facilitation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
