Facilities Technician (Project Management)
Completes general maintenance and repair of resort facilities, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall & painting. Assists with parking during special events and the winter

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform repair jobs including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, hvac, drywall repairs, and electrical.
Respond to all maintenance calls and troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively.
Ability to (be) self-motivated, organized, responsible, follow established protocol, and work as a member of a team and alone as needed.
Comfortable working at heights (rooftops, ladders, man-basket).
Capability to operate, or learn to operate, a skid steer and fork truck.
Assist with base area winter snow removal operations as needed.
Perform daily pool/spa maintenance, including detailed record keeping.
Flexible working hours. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings. Some job sharing may be required.
Help with other departments as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
Protect the safety of self-workers, and Grand Targhee Resort guests.
Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay.
Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor.
Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Resorts Occupational Safety & Health Compliance Manual and department-specific procedures or manuals.
Operate equipment safely so that it will not lead to injury to yourself or others.
Drive in accordance with the law and Grand Targhee Resort policies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK SCHEDULE
Due to the nature of the recreation industry, we are in operation seven days a week. This includes weekends and holidays and there is no guarantee of hours. Flexible working hours may be required based on the business levels.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, drywall, painting, and pool/spa preferred.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able to accurately read and make measurements.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized
situations. Stressful situations may be encountered, and the successful applicant will be able to
remain calm, think clearly and logically, while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
