College Intern I - Fall 2025 - Regulatory Licensing & Compliance (Finance)

Summary:

Fall 2025 Co-op (Semester):

The Fall 2025 College Internship Program is a paid co-op/internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. In addition, through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concept. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.

  • This is a paid internship/co-op.
  • May reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
  • Housing is not provided as part of our program.

Essential Accountabilities:
  • Assisting with key aspects of regulatory licensing and registration compliance
  • Functions to support new MSO business ventures and maintain compliance / alleviate regulatory risk.
  • Includes, but is not limited to, researching and analyzing nation-wide state licensing requirements, compiling and preparing state submissions through collaboration with company-wide business partners, as well as handling daily requests for corporate records.
  • Responsibilities will expose the intern to internal and external business partners, state portals and regulatory bodies, as well internal communication and workflow opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A successful candidate will be one who has good communication and reading comprehension skills, is organized and works well with deadlines, is able to work in all MicroSoft Office Suite software, Adobe skills are a big plus, and able to navigate various on line application portals with the state regulators.

Desired majors include:

  • High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
  • Must be in good academic standing.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and deliver high quality work product.
  • Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams where needed.

Compensation Range(s):

Intern I Min $18.00/hr - Max $20.00/hr

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position's minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
