Join Our Dynamic Sales Finance COE Team at Medtronic! Position will be hybrid in Fridley, MN.

Are you ready to make an impact on a global scale? Our Sales Finance COE Team is looking for an experienced and motivated financial professional to join us in supporting 12 diverse Operating Units across the Cardiovascular, Neuroscience, and Medical Surgical portfolios, in addition to the Global Commercial Operations and Customer Experience (GCCX) organization. In this role, you will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of expenses within GCCX.

You will collaborate with Business Partners across the globe, supporting various key functions such as Commercial Operations, Pricing & Contracting, Training & Education, and Event Management. As part of your responsibilities, you will:
• Perform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for expenses supporting the GCCX organization.
• Prepare and present monthly analysis, commentary, and forecasting, focusing on key drivers, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities to Finance Leadership and business partners.
• Partner with Global Business Partners to develop the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Rolling Forecast, and Strategic Plan.
• Provide insightful analysis on key variables to close expense gaps to targets, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Manage and maintain all aspects of our globally aligned GCCX cost centers, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and structure maintenance.
• Support the development of business cases for investments and capital projects.
• Design and maintain standardized reporting and analytics to drive consistency across the organization.
• Use insights to continuously improve financial processes and strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with key business and finance partners to drive alignment and results.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and initiatives that support the organization's goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree plus 4+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting or an Advanced Degree with 2+ years experience

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including developing expense analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key trends and drivers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for management.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency in leveraging systems and data to provide actionable insights and drive decisions.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to influence stakeholders across various levels of management and deliver value to the organization.
• High initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Experience with cross-functional projects that require matrix collaboration, relationship-building, and influencing others.
• Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems, including SAP, Onestream, Essbase and Hyperion.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• An MBA or CPA designation is a plus.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$85,600.00 - $128,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
