Project Engineer (Architecture)
•Perform initial inspection and measurements for refurbishment, repair, and repurposing projects.
•Develop work scopes and procedures for the above listed project types.
•Develop the necessary model simulations, component designs, assembly prints, and bill of materials for the above listed project types.
•Facilitate document retention for engineering measurements and reports. Engineers will produce high-level engineering reports when necessary.
•Assist in project management type tasks for the above listed project types.
•Provide technical support for aftermarket products to customers and Cooper colleagues.
•Perform all engineering measurements for cylinder and component replacements, re-designs, and reverse engineering. This information is organized and communicated to the Engineering Design team. Measurements of this type are performed in-house or in-field.
•Project engineers will travel on-site for measurement trips, installation support, troubleshooting, or overall engineering representation for Cooper-led projects.
•Project engineer to assist with technical questions from the shop floor and due to proximity of the engineering bay to the shop bay – will assist in providing a necessary engineering presence on the shop floor.
