• Bachelor's degree in EHS related discipline, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 5 years of experience in EHS applied function, including environmental compliance, sustainability, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of both Safety and Environmental regulations and standards.
• Experience conducting audits and managing regulatory reporting.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, ISO 14001, CHMM, CES,..) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate settings.
• Familiarity with Incident Management Systems, compliance calendar, environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.Position Overview:
The EHS BU Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization's Environmental, Health & Safety programs and compliance strategies. This role ensures that the company meets both internal standards and external regulatory parameters, as well as promote prevention and sustainability initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with country, regional, and local (state, and federal) regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA).
• Develop and maintain Environmental (waste management, water usage, air quality, and chemical handling), Health (exposure monitoring and controls) & Safety (risk assessment and mitigations) policies, procedures, and programs
• Conduct investigations, inspections, audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
• Actively participate in formulating new initiatives, best practices and driving sustainable change.
• Serve as the primary liaison for various EHS corporate councils and / or governing agencies to keep apprised of both company and regulatory requirements
• Lead the development and execution of Business Unit and corporate initiatives
• Monitor and drive performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Environmental, Health & Safety environmental considerations into business operations and decision-making, especially related to environmental matters, such as the management of permits, records, and documentation.
