Your Role
Tetra Tech is seeking a seasoned maritime professional to join our growing OceansMap sales team. This individual will play a central role in executing our sales strategy by driving strategic market expansion into the maritime industry, including ports, shipping, and navigation. You will help position OceansMap-the industry's leading AI-powered ocean intelligence platform-as an essential decision-support tool for shipping logistics, coastal infrastructure management, and port authorities. Responsibilities will include shaping go-to-market strategy, refining client messaging, leading technical demonstrations, and fostering new client relationships with both commercial and public sector partners.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in the maritime domain, with specific experience supporting maritime stakeholders. This role is particularly well-suited for experienced individuals with an understanding of stakeholder needs, regulatory frameworks, and marine data applications. We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for accelerating innovation in coastal and maritime operations as well as the background and credibility to build trust with clients and shape product evolution and sales strategy. A M.S. degree in Master of Science in oceanography, marine science or similar field is required, along with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a marine science field that includes regular exposure to the maritime industry.
