Integration Architect, VP (Finance)



Who we are looking for

We are looking for a seasoned and forward-thinking Enterprise Integration Architect, a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise and a passion for architecting cloud-native integration solutions. Someone who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality, scalable systems. The ideal candidate will bring experience designing secure, scalable enterprise systems in cloud environments, particularly focusing on enterprise integration patterns and data flows. What you will be responsible for

  • Architect and design integration patterns and flows across Alpha Platform, external vendors and customer solutions
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns, with a focus on enterprise integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, security teams, customers and external vendors
  • Ensure the platform meets enterprise-grade SLAs for performance, security, availability, and compliance (e.g., SOC2, PCI-DSS)
  • Provide architectural direction across development teams and lead technical design reviews.
  • Participate in strategic planning, technical roadmap development, and system architecture reviews.
  • Drive proof-of-concepts and prototyping of innovative integration solutions and tools
  • Lead the modernization of legacy trading systems, migrating from monolithic architectures to modular, cloud-native services that improve scalability, latency, and fault tolerance. Ensure continuity of business logic while modernizing core infrastructure.
  • Lead transition from batch driven processes to real-time data streaming
  • Leverage AI and machine learning tools to drive platform innovation, automate operations, and enhance developer productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product integration flows
  • Stay current with industry best practices and integration frameworks; evaluate emerging tools for strategic benefit.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in an integration architecture role.

Technical Expertise
  • Proven track record designing and architecting cloud native enterprise integration solutions
  • Strong object-oriented programming skills in Java or C#
  • Hands-on experience with integration frameworks and platforms (Apache Camel, Spring Integration / Cloud Stream, MuleSoft Anypoint, Boomi, WSO2)
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native and system integration design patterns, with the ability to apply patterns to build scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud applications
  • In-depth knowledge of event-driven architecture and real-time data streaming such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Azure Event Hubs
  • Strong experience with modern ETL/ELT tools and data integration platforms, including: Talend, Apache NiFi and Airflow, Informatica, SSIS, Azure Data Factory
  • Solid understanding of data security principles including encryption, key management, and secure design principles
  • Extensive experience with SQL and No-SQL Databases
  • Knowledge of data partitioning, clustering, and performance optimization techniques
  • Hands-on expertise with modern cloud-based data warehouses, including Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Strong understanding of application monitoring, observability, and alerting practices to ensure system reliability, performance, and rapid incident response
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with peers in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience working on regulated financial systems, with knowledge of compliance and audit requirements (e.g., SOX, SOC, ISO, GDPR)

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
