Proposal Manager - Major Projects. (Finance)

Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a Proposal Manager (Major Projects) to join our growing Major Projects team. In this role, you will lead pursuit strategies, marketing, and proposal management for strategic alternative delivery procurements, including Design-Build and P3 projects. You will work across disciplines to coordinate teams, develop winning strategies, and deliver high-quality, competitive proposals that position Arcadis for success in major pursuits.

Role Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage proposal efforts for APD procurements, including serving as Proposal Director on the GDOT I-285 DB project.
  • Guide multi-disciplinary teams from RFQ through RFP, ensuring timely, compliant, and compelling submissions.
  • Coordinate pursuit deliverables across Arcadis technical staff, contractors, and subconsultants, including content, graphics, forms, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner with Major Projects and Mobility teams to deliver strategic initiatives, support pipeline management, and advance pursuit positioning.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and teaming assessments to strengthen capture strategies.
  • Leverage global support centers (GSSC, GEC) for graphics, research, and proposal production to maximize resources.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement, business development, or proposal management in the AEC industry.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong understanding of APD procurement processes (Design-Build, P3) and experience managing large-scale pursuits.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills with proven ability to manage deadlines and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience working with global support centers and collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office, proposal systems).
  • Strategic, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a passion for driving winning outcomes.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
