The annual base salary pay range for this position is $78,300.00 - $117,300.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.As a Security Professional here at Honeywell, you will ensure the safety of our critical assets and information, implement security measures, monitor systems, and respond to incidents, maintaining compliance and protecting operations. You'll work out of our Herndon, VA location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • U.S. citizenship and be able to obtain and maintain government security clearance
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in security role such as an CPSO/CSSO/SSO for SCI or SAP programs, with in-depth knowledge of the DOD IC regulatory manual.
  • Proficient level of understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), CFR 32 117, the NISPOM Overprint, and DoD SAP Manuals & ICD series manuals
  • Proficient with the use of SC, DISS, NISS, JADE and eMass
  • Experience in Industrial Security and Insider Threat Programs
  • Creating industrial security policies and procedures
  • Superior organizational/task prioritization skills
  • COMSEC experience

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security
  • Relevant certifications such as Industrial Security Professional, Facility Security Officer, Physical Security and Security Fundamentals.
  • Experience with security monitoring and incident response
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Security Incidents (investigate security violations, report to customer, prepare report, and counsel)
  • Manage SCIF (open/close, access, safes, inspection)
  • Manage account requests
  • Visit requests (clearance passing)
  • Manage Onsite Customer Events
  • Security Awareness Briefings (NEO,AWOL, Manager requirements, etc.)
  • Conduct all programs specific access briefings and debriefings
  • Prepublication Submissions, Medical Device Waivers, and SEAD requirements
  • Process and maintain classified document accountability records and provide security support and directions including the development and maintenance of DD254's and security guidance
  • Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Conduct self inspections and participate in government audits and assessments, developing corrective action plans when needed
  • Point of contact between the contractor, government agencies and other security personnel
