Training Coordinator (Finance)



An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Training/Site Coordinator at Tridium, an independent business entity of Honeywell, located in Richmond, VA. In this exciting opportunity in a high growth environment, you will use your extensive administrative experience to significantly impact and support our leadership team.

Use your administrative and organizational skills to provide support to Tridium and Honeywell executives, including Vice Presidents and Senior Leaders. The tasks will cover three main areas, Site coordination, Training Facility coordination, and Executive support. You will report directly to our Project Management Director, and you'll work on a Hybrid work schedule. Note: New Hires will report to site Monday through Friday for the first 90 days.

This position will be responsible for a variety of business management tasks working in a cross-functional environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in scheduling classes and coordinating training sessions, ensuring all necessary resources and a conducive learning environment are provided.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for trainers, participants, and the General Manager when necessary.
  • Provide detailed administrative support including calendar management, preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, arranging conference calls, and handling expense reports.
  • Distribute training materials and support associated training tasks to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of company events, meetings, employee team-building activities, and special projects.
  • Act as the primary contact for the third-party property manager and coordinate necessary Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) tasks with subject matter experts.
  • Manage office vendors, maintain office supplies, and ensure common areas are organized.
  • Create requisitions for office-related purchases and follow up on outstanding invoices to resolve any issues.

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing administrative support
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments / updating calendars and coordinating travel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage/lead multiple tasks and handle changing priorities
