Sr. Accounting Coordinator (Administrative)

Core Responsibilities
Project and phase setup in our ERP system (Deltek VP)Review employee timesheets for accuracy and completenessAudit and enter expense reports in line with firm policyProcess and post cash receipts in coordination with billing staffAssist with invoice documentation and filingMaintain logs and supporting documentation for WBE, DBE, SBE, and other business certifications across states, cities, and agencies (e.g., DOT, MTA)Track certification deadlines and ensure timely renewals and submissionsWork with contracts dept with COI master listWork closely with the COO, Accounting Managers, and project teams to support compliance with state and agency certification requirementsAssist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assignedUpdate and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactionsReconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly postedAssist in preparation of budgets or forecastsProvide support for various ad hoc tasks are required contributing to the broader goals of the accounting team
