The GGB Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our products across a defined customer base. This role is based in Thorofare, NJ and involves both direct and indirect management of key accounts, developing product expertise, and improving business processes to support the scaling of our product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through direct management of key accounts and indirect management through the utilization of Timken's Management Sales Team.
  • Responsible for being the product specialist on GGB bearings which includes, but is not limited to the following: application targets, product features, design requirements, etc.
  • Training, coaching, and promoting GGB product lines across the sales team in U.S. with goal of driving scale.
  • Improvement of business processes as integration of this product line scales over time. Direct involvement and feedback into key functional areas such as customer service, engineering, supply chain, and enabling growth of GGB bearings across the U.S.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with customers and develops key account plans to meet or exceed strategic territory targets.
  • Promotes the company's bearing technology and innovative tribological solutions, leveraging technical acumen and value selling strategies.
  • Responsible for all aspects of business planning for assigned customer base, including development of account plans in alignment with strategic business priorities.
  • Partner with Timken Sales and with GGB operations, business development, product management, and marketing to influence and align with the Timken & GGB Strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in bearing sales or relevant industrial sectors.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude to provide customers with technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and a commitment to ethical action and integrity.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Travel is required on an as-needed basis to provide customer support and to develop new opportunities.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: The yearly compensation for this role is $88,920 - $108,680 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Actual pay may be higher or lower than the posted range.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
  • Other Compensation: Includes sales performance incentive program andwellness incentives.
