What you will be doing:
Oversee daily operations of the hotels culinary department to meet production, presentation, and service standards.Uphold & enhance all standards of the culinary department.Meet or exceed all stated budgets in the culinary department, ensuring maximum profitability.Recruit & manage Heart of House team members in a manner that fosters long-term employment.Create & design recipes and menus for daily operations in addition to specials and special events that meet or exceed in flavor, uniqueness, and COGS budgets.Arrange for equipment purchases & repairs when needed.Implement & oversee best practices for maintaining, cleaning & preserving Heart of House equipment/smallware's/CGS.Supervise and take ownership of all Heart of House team activities.Assist culinary team with all duties, including but not limited to, working stations, covering shifts, executing general tasks, etc.Actively foster a positive working relationship with the FOH and all other departments within the Hotel/Restaurant
