The Warehouse Associate will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing, and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Forklift certified
Ability to operate forklift in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OHSA)
Ability to perform RF Picking efficiently
Understand basic inventory, warehousing, and stocking procedures
Ability to recognize and understand numbers and alpha/numeric codes
Ability to work independently with some directions
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
Comfortable in fast-paced environment
Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
Team player who works productively with wide range of people
Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time
Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order
Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits
Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person
Communicate positively with supervisors, staff, fellow workers, deliveries/pick-up personal
Operate a forklift/pallet jack safely and efficiently, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor
Use RF Scanner to efficiently pick SKUs
Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
Process returns accurately
Follow all established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace
Attend product knowledge meetings as required by management
Present a neat and professional image
Assist in keeping facility secure
Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment
Applicants must be comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment, equipped with ceiling fans and screens for airflow. Applicants must be physically able to operate equipment (sit-down and stand-up forklifts), engage in periods of long standing and walking, and perform consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
