R&D Laboratory Coordinator (Healthcare)



We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Coordinatorto join our dynamic Research & Development team. This entry-level position is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our R&D labs through daily support of laboratory functions, equipment maintenance, and inventory coordination. Youll work closely with scientists and cross-functional teams to help drive innovation and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.

What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work full time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Some key duties in this role include:
Laboratory Operations Support:
Assist in product-related laboratory testing, including microbial growth, sample dilution, plating, enumeration, and evaluation of product performance on sample-to-answer platformsPackage and label prototype products for internal and external usePerform general lab maintenance, including environmental monitoring, cleaning, autoclaving, and preparation of reagents and labware
Inventory Management:
Maintain adequate supply levels by ordering, receiving, organizing, and tracking reagents, media, and laboratory consumablesEnsure traceability and proper labeling of all laboratory materials and supplies
Material Inspection & Compliance:
Receive and inspect raw materials, media, and components for quality and compliance standardsCoordinate supply requisitions and ensure all items meet lab specifications and documentation requirements
Equipment Maintenance & Coordination:
Coordinate scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, pipettes, and instrumentsConduct routine verification checks and support upkeep of equipment records
Additional Responsibilities:
Execute daily, weekly, and monthly operational lab tasks as assignedSupport other departments on cross-functional lab-related activitiesContribute to continuous improvement of lab processes and workflow

Here is what we are looking for:
Education/Experience
Two-year microbiology or related degree or equivalent work experience required.
No previous experience necessary. On the job training provided.
The ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
