This is a professional position that provides financial and budget analysis, projections, examines variances, processes cash transfers, reconciles accounts, and generally assists RMD leadership in the critical functions involved in managing financial resources well. The primary purpose of this position is to monitor and analyze budget and accounting data to ensure compliance with statutes, regulations and accounting principles.Minimum: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and 0-2 years of fiscal related work experience. Or a Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and two years of fiscal related work experience. Grow Here .Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, ad hoc reports and consolidated financials, which are used by management/accountable officers to make financial decisions. Perform analysis of assigned departmental financial statements including review of budget versus actuals analysis. \n Process and monitor all cash transfers, including but not limited to, operational cash transfers, Living Learning Community Fee transfers, and Health Fee transfers for the Student Success unit. \n Performs bi-weekly payroll reviews and periodic audits to ensure proper costing distributions. Prepares cost adjustments and corrective journal entries as necessary. \n Assist in preparation of annual operating budgets, budget recasts and balancing funding commitment. Compile data of annual operating budgets, trends of actual expenditures and revenues for analysis. Prepare and process budget transfers as necessary. Participate in budget uploads, re-balancing and mid year reporting. \n Assists with USF Foundation fund reconciliations and other financial administrator duties. \n Performs other duties as assigned.
