Job Description
Function:
The IT Sourcing Manager will lead IT sourcing projects to help Intuitive Surgical Inc. (Intuitive) procure the best services and products at the most competitive cost. The IT Sourcing Manager is accountable for managing and executing the sourcing strategy for IT procurement categories (such as Hardware, Software/SaaS, Telco and Technology Services related services). This individual will work closely with Intuitive's IT department and other business units to manage sourcing strategies that drive significant value and impact for Intuitive's operations.
This person will be responsible for leading Technology services strategic sourcing projects from start-to-finish, including process steps such as vendor research, category/market research, market index analysis, data analysis, baseline development, RFP development, bid management, negotiations, offer analysis and scenario development. This role will also be involved in post-bid management, which includes activities such as contract management, spend analysis and vendor management. He/she will manage multiple projects at the same time as well as support ad-hoc IT sourcing inquiries.
Collaboration with IT, finance & business stakeholders are necessary to succeed in this role. Strong project management and communication skills will also be key in this role as this person will be interacting with many employees, departments and suppliers to facilitate cross-functional IT Sourcing activities.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.
Base Salary Range Region 1: $139,400 USD - $200,600 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $118,500 USD - $170,500 USD
Shift: Day
Workplace Type: Set Schedule - This job will be onsite weekly, the percentage of onsite work will be defined by the leader.
