Machine Operator CNC Associate - 1st Shift (Finance)
Arthrex Manufacturing is actively seeking candidates for the Milling CNC Department - Drill Cell, an Machine Operator Associate position. We are looking for candidates who have a good mechanical aptitude, strong math skills and eager to learn. This position will have a 6-8 month training program. The training schedule will be from 8:00AM to 6:30PM, Monday through Thursday. When completed with training, the schedule will be on First shift, from 5:00AM to 3:30PM, on a rotating crew schedule Monday through Saturday (10-hour shifts/4 days). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Mechanical aptitude is required. Ability to learn how to use basic measuring tools (micrometer and calipers). Basic computer literacy, basic math skills, a desire to improve in all areas, and work as part of a team committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Successful completion of assigned curriculum within 180 days of hire/transfer which includes completing the Fundamentals of Manufacturing. Complete and pass Metrology Course CTC-137 and CTA-082. For CMM training if required by the department will require completing CTC-047 and CTA-080

Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
Physical Demands:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
