Associate Principal IT SAP Finance (Finance)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal, IT SAP Finance to lead the design and delivery of Finance solutions within our S/4HANA transformation program. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, combined with a strong understanding of business processes and integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Develop and own the solution blueprint for Finance-related functionalities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling (CCA, PCA), Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
  • Provide strategic guidance on S/4HANA capabilities and roadmap, including Central Finance and Universal Journal.
  • Design and oversee data migration strategies for Finance objects.
  • Drive system integration with other modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems.
  • Review functional and technical specifications to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
  • Lead Fit/Gap analysis, solution workshops, and configuration sessions.
  • Provide guidance to functional consultants and developers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with security, internal controls, and data privacy requirements.
  • Support testing, training, and deployment efforts.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in SAP Finance with at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and new functionalities such as Fiori apps and embedded analytics.
  • Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Strong knowledge of integration points with MM, SD, PP, and Project Systems.
  • Familiarity with SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, and Treasury is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a global deployment environment with multiple legal entities and currencies.
  • Exposure to cloud-based integrations and platforms like SAP BTP.
  • Working knowledge of Fiori UX and UI5 for Finance.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR) and audit requirements.

The estimated base salary range for the Associate Principal IT SAP Finance role based in the United States of America is: $152,600 - $228,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
