Sr Advanced Systems Engr (Finance)



As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing system qualification services for various projects and initiatives. You will join a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of qualification testing activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met. You will report directly to the CNS Labs and Qual Team Senior Manager, and you'll work out of our Deer Valley, AZ location.

You will be involved in the most critical stages of the systems life cycle, from prototype engineering testing to system qualification testing. You will have a significant impact on the success of our qualification systems operations. You will be responsible for creating qualification plans and procedures, executing qualification tests, writing qualification test reports, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our qualification processes.As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing system qualification services for various projects and initiatives. You will join a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of qualification testing activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, physics, or mathematics
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering roles
  • Strong desire to create a quality product, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with quality management systems and processes
  • Experience working with DO-160 and/or Mil-STD environmental requirements and evaluating MOPS such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Test Procedure and Test Report writing experience

  • Create test plans, procedures, and reports based on customer environmental requirements and applicable performance standards
  • Avionics testing in accordance with environmental requirements and Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency
