Quality Assurance Coordinator (Project Management)

Job Summary:

Quality Assurance Coordinator?removes or discards all products and equipment that fail to meet specifications. These Coordinators examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Assist the printing press operator in setting up and running the press
Load and unload paper, ink, and other materials onto the press
Perform routine maintenance on the press
Mount printing plates to press cylinders.
Ensure that the printed materials meet quality standards
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Performs tasks within acceptable limits for quality, quantity, sanitation and timeliness of completion, paying particular attention to prevent and eliminate costly errors.
Checks and inspects material received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to customer's specifications.
Prepares make-ready for upcoming jobs such as staging material for upcoming jobs
Learns basic machine operation.
Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding area
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
Good attendance is a MUST
All other duties as assigned
