Role Description:

We are currently seeking to fill the role of Program Manager to support the Arcadis Global Solution Director for Water Optimization within the Arcadis Resilience Global Business Area. This is a leadership position with high growth potential reporting to the Global Solution Director for Water Optimization with dotted-line collaboration to the US National Water Optimization Solution Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to provide professional support across a wide range of technical, managerial, leadership, and administrative activities. This role will interface with Global Business Area Senior Leadership, Global Solution Directors, Global Service Directors, Regional Client Development Directors, Business Area Solution Leaders, Business Area Executive Teams, Product Owners, and members of the Water Optimization Solution.

The Water Optimization Solution is an area in which Arcadis is recognized as an industry leader and represents our longstanding core disciplines including without limitation, Planning, Design, Business Advisory, Program and Construction Management services for the delivery of Water and Wastewater Treatment, Wastewater Collection and Water Distribution, Water Reuse, Intelligent Water, Asset Management, Innovation and Digitization.

Role Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Global Solution Director and the Water Optimization leadership team to 1) develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs in the areas of emerging issues, evolving market trends, and regulatory drivers focused on business growth, 2) assess the position of our competitors and 3) develop industry-leading insights to drive development of differentiated, value-added technical solutions in alignment with our global strategy. Serve as a point of contact for in-country teams to provide insight into emerging challenges and market opportunities and to connect teams to global resources. Support the Global Water Optimization Director by stimulating collaboration between global business areas and capability by organizing cross-regional meetings and improving the use of our Global Excellence Centers.

Foster collaboration across our global presence in Water Optimization through coordination with leaders across other geographies and exchanging innovative approaches and compelling value propositions to accelerate growth and enhance our position in the respective markets. Leverage a deep understanding of Water Optimization and digital solutions to support Arcadis Digital Intelligence, our digital products teams, the Innovation team and other ecosystem partners.

Support teams on strategic pursuits that drive value to our business. The Program Manager will build recognition in the market and can be client-facing during the pursuit, proposal, and presentation phase of capturing an opportunity. Where applicable, collaborates with the Solution Director to bring global knowledge and share innovative views on technological and business model developments that enhance our brand and reputation to secure strategic pursuits. Share Arcadis insights at conferences, industry events, and on social media.

Work with the Marketing Team and Account Teams to support the development of collateral and thought leadership material to leverage and differentiate our position as market leaders. Evolve and grow our focus on Water Optimization by effectively supporting our technical and client teams, building in-depth understanding of the market needs, capturing data, insights and generating discussion that drive the client experience. Collect information on significant project wins and completed case studies and maintain a reference library for Arcadis water leadership and staff. Work with GBA and Global Shared Services Center support staff to develop and disseminate quarterly newsletters to inform all Arcadis water staff on the activities of the Global Solution.

Success and Role Accountabilities:

  • Support visibility of Arcadis at and participate in industry conferences and meetings.
  • Actively participate on social media promoting Arcadis' people, projects, campaigns, thought leadership and global strategy
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the Global Solution team, supporting the export of industry-leading insights and expertise to other countries.
  • Meetings and Fostering Collaboration -coordination and meeting management, support global Community of Practice meetings, coordinate regular team meetings within the Water Optimization Global Solution.
  • Technical Support - As-appropriate technical and task support on projects; Internal presentation development; Support meeting logistics and coordination.
  • Sales and Opportunities Reporting - Develop reports and communicate on global and country project opportunities and wins. Organize and coordinate requests with Solution Director, Pursuit Managers, and Account Leaders.
  • Internal and External Content and Marketing Support - Support website updates, content approvals and requests through client managers; manage collateral and assist in the development of new technical collateral; coordinate global content and pursuit requests with Global Solution Director and Business Area Solution Leaders.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the Global Resilience Business Area team.
  • Present the outcomes of analysis at team meetings to ensure the insights gained are clearly communicated and to propose ways in which these may be leveraged to add value.
  • Readiness to take on tasks as needed to support the goals of the business and the needs of the Solution.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, Visio, OneNote),
  • Excellent business English both written and oral, proficient in grammar and sentence structure to support technical writing,
  • Exercise independent judgment and evaluation,

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $94,944 - $145,581. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
