Store Team Member (Transportation)
Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding our selection of Italian products, including specialty foods, wines, and household items.
Replenishment & Merchandising: Restock shelves and displays regularly to ensure all products are well-presented and available; maintain visual standards for cleanliness and organization.
Product Knowledge: Learn and share information about traditional Italian goods, ingredients, and preparation methods to help customers make informed purchases.
Point of Sale (POS): Operate the cash register efficiently, handle transactions accurately, and process payments (cash, credit, etc.).
Team Support: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment.
General Store Upkeep: Assist with cleaning, organizing stockrooms, checking for expired products, and ensuring overall store cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Previous retail or food service experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
A passion for Italian culture, cuisine, or specialty foods is a plus
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
