Business Communications Senior Advisor - Strategy and Operations (Finance)

As a Business Communications Senior Advisor, Strategy and Operationsfor The Cigna Group, you will work across our Evernorth Health Services and Cigna Healthcare portfolios in support strategic business communications and the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Cigna Group. This role will support the business communications team working across priorities, content execution, measurement, and strategy implementation. Additionally, this role will collaborate in support of the Chief Operating Officer's executive communications, including event management, logistics, presentation materials, and talking points.
Responsibilities:

• Support Executive Communications for the Chief Operating Officer and other leaders as needed including but not limited to drafting talking points, briefing materials, and slides.
• Coordinate speaking engagement operations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and preparedness.
• Work across The Cigna Group business communications team, inclusive of Evernorth Health Services and Cigna Healthcare, to implement proactive communications strategy, appropriate branding, and impactful content strategies.
• Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies for internal and external audiences across our channels.
• Implement and execute measurement frameworks to assess the effectiveness of content and communications strategies across business comms and in coordination with other communication stakeholders.
• Own and maintain channel guides and content calendar planning to ensure timely and effective content delivery.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices continuously improve content strategies and execution.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on content strategy and best practices.

Ideal candidates will offer:

• At least 8+ years of experience in strategy, communications, or a related field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a similar field preferred.
• Health care experience strongly preferred.
• Results-oriented, with a proven track record of executing strategic communications programming, including executive communications, internal and external positioning, and project management.
• Strong initiative to take projects from inception to completion while collaborating in a highly matrixed environment.
• Proven track record developing and implementing impactful content strategies across multiple channels.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, manage, and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to create compelling and impactful content.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in using content management systems and analytics tools to measure content effectiveness.
