MSE Manager - Progressive Maintenance

The MSE Manager for Progressive Maintenance will serve as an implementation leader for the design and roll-out of Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) across our sites focusing on the Progressive Maintenance Pillar. The MSE Manager will serve as a change agent to coach and train the factory management teams on the effective deployment of key MSE strategies and processes. As a PM

regional manager, they will drive a learning culture that embraces standardized work, utilizing the MSE framework to know (analyze), improve and sustain organizational and operations performance. The MSE manager will apply competence in Total Productive Maintenance methodology as well as daily management systems to drive effective loss reduction activities.

Success will be measured by the results achieved by the sites in terms of operational performance improvements, capability building, and demonstration of desired behaviors, measured through the MSE maturity audit.

What are we looking for?
Minimum

  • 10 + years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain environment
  • 5+ years of experience working with and understanding TPM principals and methods (specifically, PM, EM, and AM)
  • 5+ years prior experience in Manufacturing leadership positions
  • Multi-plant and/or multi-unit projects experience
  • Proven experience as a coach/trainer/mentor
  • Ability to travel up to 50%-70%

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or T echnical Degree
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Engage maintenance and functional leaders in meaningful reviews of operational KPIs to determine appropriate responses to close gaps
  • Engage Site Reliability Managers and Supply Excellence Managers in deployments and develop their skills and capabilities
  • Manage stakeholders to align on goals and targets (operationally and financially) and quantification of benefits
  • Leverage the deployment of new technologies such as SAP Plant Maintenance, digital manufacturing and predictive maintenance technologies.
  • Define and maintain objectives/Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and review and assess ongoing performance and trends of the overall operations.
  • Lead Implementation (design & execution) of MSE processes
  • Accountable for Maintenance Process delivery
  • Provide input for MSE Academy training program planning process to ensure regional training needs are met
  • Actively Lead community of Practice connections to share best practices and learn from others
  • Explain how processes are implemented and executed within the team and with stakeholders
  • The Progressive Maintenance MSE Manager has accountability and responsibility for the connection, translation and deployment of the MSE PM Global program to the Region and Sites
  • Work collaboratively with the Global/Regional Supply Excellence team, Plant Directors, and factory management teams, cross-functionally with leaders to shape, deploy and collaborate in the execution of the MSE strategy and operating plans.
