Crane Operator (Finance)
Successfully operate Clyde barge mounted cranes to discharge/load cargo to/from vessels/shore. Maintain and repair the cranes as trained and instructed. - Safely and efficiently operate cranes and related gear to transfer cargo from vessel to shore. - Effectively coordinate with vessel personnel, complete required documentation and reports related to cargo transfer. - May act as an assigned leader for other marine employees. - Participate as trained and instructed in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of cranes, gear and related equipment. - May be assigned to general duties in all areas of operations of the terminals. - Refresher training in maintenance, operations, safety and environmental as required. - Housekeeping and general maintenance as required. - Perform any other type of terminal function as trained and as instructed by the supervisor.
Position Requirements
Five years of demonstrated work experience in the field of equipment maintenance, hydraulics, welding or diesel engine maintenance. Experience operating a friction/cable crane in a production environment is highly preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work at heights up to 80 feet Must meet medical criteria for use of respiratory protective equipment Demonstrated aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records Must have the ability to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
