Full Time Lower School Assistant & Extension After School Teacher (Education)



Oregon Episcopal School seeks a Lower School Assistant & Extension teacher to begin duties in August 2025.

JOB SUMMARY: This full-time role is a combined position, with 50% of responsibilities in the Lower School (LS) as a classroom assistant teacher and 50% in the Extension program as an after-school teacher.
In the LS, the assistant teacher supports classroom instruction by working directly with students under the guidance of a lead teacher, helping to implement curriculum and maintain a positive, productive classroom environment. In the Extension program, the teacher leads engaging after-school activities for groups of students, collaborates with teammates to uphold high program standards, and ensures alignment with Extension Department guidelines, OES policies, and Oregon Office of Child Care regulations.

The ideal candidate will bring cultural competence, a passion for working with elementary-aged children, and a collaborative, upbeat, and inclusive approach to their work.

Schedule: August 19, 2025 - June 14, 2026

Status: Full-time, non-exempt, salaried
