Environmental Supervisor (Engineering)
Uphold a pristine, germ-free environment through innovative cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance.
Utilize cutting-edge cleaning solutions to eradicate dirt, grease, and grime from surfaces.
Expertly handle waste disposal and clean up bodily fluids for a spotless and safe space.
Employ modern cleaning methods, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
Manage responsible disposal of waste materials, ensuring an eco-friendly approach.
Add finesse to the environment by diligently dusting furniture, light fixtures, and window sills.
Implement a daily ritual of wet mopping floors in residents' rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, and dining areas.
Perform regular cleaning of wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs, and showers to maintain optimal hygiene.
Maintain freshness by inspecting and refreshing all vacant rooms on a daily basis.
Ensure clean air by routinely maintaining and cleaning air vents.
Act promptly by reporting any repair needs to supervisors for swift resolution.
Follow strict guidelines for handling hazardous materials and bodily fluids, prioritizing safety.
Collaborate seamlessly with nursing services for effective daily housekeeping in resident living and recreational spaces.
Ensure resident rooms and common areas are devoid of trip hazards or safety concerns.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of:
Cleaning solvents and disinfection solutions.
Safety rules, policies and procedures, infection prevention and control procedures.
Facility emergency/disaster response and evacuation procedures.
Facility policies and procedures.
Skill in:
Use and care of equipment, tools and materials used in housekeeping activities.
Following and maintaining safety standards.
Following and effectively communicating verbal and written instructions.
Ability to:
Read and write
Comprehend written and verbal instructions on cleaning chemical labels
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with associate personnel, residents and resident family members.
Discern odors and see different colors to differentiate chemicals.
Comply with Facility policies and procedures.

Working Conditions
Clear hearing for understanding verbal instructions and safety warnings.
Good vision for spotting marks on surfaces and navigating various spaces.
Proficient manual dexterity to handle cleaning devices and make adjustments.
Adequate strength to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for several hours, and move between tasks.
Flexibility and balance for bending, stooping, and climbing during cleaning tasks.
Mobility and reflexes to work in enclosed spaces and handle diverse conditions.
Safety-sensitive role according to A.R.S. 23-493.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma/GED.
One (1) year experience in housekeeping.
Or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.
Special Requirements
Obtain/maintain Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Card at employee's expense.
Obtain COVID-19 vaccine or exemption
Complete annual Tuberculosis Testing.
Complete required in-service training.
Mandated federal, state, and local communicable disease testing as required.
