QA & Testing Advisor- Express Scripts - Remote (Finance)



Summary: The Business Advisor is responsible for prioritizing, investigating, and, where necessary, resolving issues with EverNorth Home Delivery production systems. This role seeks to t ake a holistic approach to problem-solving and business strategy, continuously improve processes, and works closely with the manager on development of the team. Support department reporting needs to drive key metrics and track progress. The advisor will collaborate with development to help with collecting requirements, test cases, reviewing and approving test case output, and, as necessary, coordinating release validation with operations. This position utilizes technical aptitudes and experiences to provide both business and system support ensuring system integrity and patient safety. Ensure satisfaction with IT products, systems and services alignment with Client and EverNorth objectives. Provides technical analysis in resolving system issues. May facilitate activities with functional areas to oversee delivery of products/services to meet operational needs. This position also manages the configuration of the business rules that drive system functionality. Additionally, the advisor serves as primary liaison between IT and Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Uses SME expertise to work cross functionally with other operational and division departments to research and resolve strategic and division wide projects and issues.
  • Work collaboratively with operations and cross functional partners on root cause analysis and triage of incidents.
  • Aids in the configuration of business rules that drive system functionality.
  • Implement process improvements and system enhancements through recommendations from operations staff and cross functional partners.
  • Conducts User Acceptance Testing for IT initiatives.
  • Serves as a point of contact for IT and Operations. Maintain working knowledge of both areas.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Sales & Account Management, IT, Operations, and Product.
  • Represents the team in Home Delivery initiatives, committees or meetings as needed.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members' training plans.
  • Key contributor to reporting and analysis of team metrics.
  • Provide formal and informal presentations.
  • Create and maintain internal SOPs to improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline preferred or equivalent years' experience.
  • 5 plus years relevant operations experience
  • Experience and understanding of specialty operations and processes is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment preferred.
  • PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding and ability to write business requirements.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of how to create training plans and materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the PBM or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of customer service/patient interaction experience and pharmacy related processes
  • Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation abilities
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency within applications: Bluezone, TMW, CSP, Universal Viewer, Autofax, BE PAC Tool, POC, Alpha
  • Proficiency in primary and secondary claims processing
  • High level of self-motivation, integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers across the organization.
  • Ability to effectively work within a complex, matrix environment.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 94,200 - 157,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
