Rental Locker / Lost & Found Lead (Personal Services)

Taos Ski Valley, Inc. utilizes both private and public, conventional, and computer-controlled RFID Key access lockers to offer our guests premier options for easy and secure access to their personal belongings. A fast-paced high-revenue business in and of itself, seasonal and daily locker rentals appreciate the support of and benefits from of all Resort Services and Taos Ski Valley, Inc.

The Rental Lockers Lead will take ownership of seasonal and daily locker rentals, maintenance, and organization for Resort Services.

Working primarily from the Lost and Found office, the Rental Lockers Lead will additionally Lead our Team to assure all misplaced personal items are organized, catalogued, and returned to their owner when possible.

A Lead member of the Resort Services Team, the Rental Lockers Lead will have the opportunity to learn other Rental and Retail operations and assist when needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Actively work at the Lost and Found / Daily and Seasonal Locker office, engaging customers and staff to accomplish vision and goals Act as a Sales / Rental Lead when needed in all Resort Services operations Educate, train and support other staff in a real-time guest facing Lead roll Lead by example with world-class customer service Handle large groups of guests in a short period of time Handle issues quickly and efficiently for the guest and company Lead your team to cleanliness, attention to detail, and organizational excellence Responsible for a staff schedule Assist with training and supporting new hires to ensure they understand their roles and are successful Monitor staff productivity and provide constructive feedback, coaching and support Report weekly and when needed to Resort Services Management Attend and engage in trainings and professional development Reliable attendance on all scheduled work days. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Knowledge
2 years minimum retail, rental, customer service or related experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook requiredRetail point-of-sale software experience preferredAbility to prioritize and perform multiple functions simultaneously in a high-pressure environment and on strict deadlines.Demonstrates experience appropriately handling differences, both internally and/or with guests.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.
Work Environment:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Taos Ski Valley is located in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require moving on uneven, snow packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold and/or humid conditions. Travel may be required during trade shows.

Physical Demands of Position Include:
50-75% of time spent at a counter or work station. 10-15% of time spent standing/walking. 10% of time spent moving objects - often lifting 25lbs rarely up to 50lbs, and using a dolly.

Background Check
Positions dealing with children, of safety sensitive and/or confidential nature, require driving or positions that handle cash may require a background check and MVR check. Employment is contingent upon a favorable background check and MVR check.
