Engineer - Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square (Maintenance)



The beautiful Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Downtown Pioneer Square is looking to add an esteemed Maintenance Engineer to the team! We're steps from the Lumen Field. Union Station is a block east for easy access to International District, the Space Needle and Pike Place.

Classification: Full Time

Shift: 5 shifts per week; Varies – AM/PM to include weekends and holidays.

Hourly Wage Range: $26.13 - $29.93

 

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

  • Have basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC including repairs and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Swimming pool maintenance experience ideal.

 

What will I be doing:

As an Engineer, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.
  • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
  • Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
  • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
  • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.

The starting hourly wage for this role will be $26.13 per hour, after 90 days of employment the hourly wage will increase to $29.93. Wage is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
