The salary range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00 per hour based upon a San Francisco location.

Position Overview

We are seeking a TEMP-Staff Accountant with experience in treasury and intercompany reporting to join our accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing intercompany transactions, bank reconciliations and cash management. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage weekly cash balances, ensuring proper funding of accounts across all entities.
  • Maintain and update bank account signatories.
  • Document and standardize processes for core treasury activities.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple entities and investigate and resolve any discrepancies or unreconciled items in a timely manner.
  • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
  • Investigate and resolve intercompany discrepancies in coordination with global finance teams.
  • Assist the reporting team with intercompany declarations within the LVMH Group using SyRUS.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests, including preparing schedules and providing supporting documentation.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance audit efficiency.
  • Work closely with FP&A to provide accurate financial data for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Assist in variance analyses on ad hoc basis.
  • Assist with the month-end closing process as assigned.
  • Assist with ad-hoc reporting projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with treasury and intercompany reporting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and intercompany accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
