Position Overview

The Senior Information Security Specialist (BCM Lead) works with the Senior Manager - Governance and Oversight to provide operational support for the coordination and execution of Wintrust's Information Security program, specifically the planning, management, and performance of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program that supports enterprise-wide business continuity arrangements.  The position will lead the planning, facilitation, and support of these arrangements, supported by other IS specialists as required. This position will also establish and maintain procedures to support the program.  This position requires the ability to effectively collaborate within his/her own department and across broad parts of the organization.

What You'll Do

  • As Program Lead, coordinate and assign IS BCM resources to support the enterprise BCM program

  • Apply concepts of business continuity management to the program, based on the FFIEC guidelines and other relevant sources and become a trusted advisor to the enterprise coordinator base

  • Coordinate the review and improvement of the enterprise Business Continuity Policy

  • Facilitate the business in the preparation and maintenance of the required BCM program documents (BIA/BCP/RW) and exercise plans and results (Tabletop, Functional and Call Tree)

  • Prepare and report enterprise level KRIs and other metrics related to the program

  • Prepare enterprise-level BCM reports for oversight bodies (Enterprise BIA, Pandemic risk assessment)

  • Establish and maintain procedures to support the program and support the design, development and operation of automated support solutions (BCS, Resolver)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of business continuity experience in large US Enterprise setting

  • Advanced knowledge of business continuity requirements in US banking enterprises and how to establish arrangements to meet them

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in performing Information Technology and Information Security Risk Assessments

  • Experienced in working with multiple security Frameworks and guidelines including but not limited to:

    • NIST

    • FFIEC Guidelines

    • COBIT

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000.00 - $140,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
