Our Cardiac Diagnostics & Services (CDS) business is redefining the way clinicians and patients detect, monitor , and manage cardiac conditions-bringing forward digital health solutions, remote monitoring, and diagnostic insights that deliver earlier intervention and better outcomes.

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Global Commercial Product Marketing Director to lead our growing team of product marketers within the Cardiac Diagnostics & Services business. This highly visible leadership role will shape go-to-market strategy, portfolio positioning, and commercialization initiatives across our product lines. You will drive market adoption, identify growth opportunities, and serve as the voice of the customer-ensuring that every product decision reflects patient and provider needs.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will lead a team of experienced product marketers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture that's aligned to our mission and strategic objectives .

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

You'll guide the strategic direction of our product portfolio-translating clinical and customer insights into compelling positioning, messaging, and launch strategies. Your day may include coaching team members on product launches, aligning with R&D and upstream teams on roadmap planning, collaborating with downstream and digital marketing leads, or presenting growth strategies to senior leadership. You'll ensure consistency across messaging, value propositions, and market-facing materials, while empowering your team to execute with excellence. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product marketers responsible for the CDS portfolio, including diagnostics, remote monitoring, and digital health solutions.

  • Define and execute product marketing strategies that drive adoption, market share, and revenue growth.

  • Own product positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions across the portfolio.

  • Partner with upstream, commercial, clinical, and digital teams to shape product roadmaps and customer engagement strategies.

  • Oversee product launches, market development plans, and competitive strategy.

  • Develop deep customer and market insights through VOC, segmentation, and market research.

  • Align marketing plans to business unit priorities and financial goals.

  • Represent marketing in cross-functional leadership forums and executive updates.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing , Business, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or other healthcare -centric industry

  • Demonstrated learning agility with the ability to quickly adapt, pivot strategically, and thrive in a complex, cross-functional matrixed environment.

  • Proven success leading teams, managing portfolios, and driving go-to-market strategies.

  • Experience bringing new products or digital solutions to market.

  • Strong strategic thinking, people leadership, and cross-functional influence.

  • Proven ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans and results.

  • Ability to travel up to 3 0 % of the time

Nice to Have:

  • MBA or advanced degree in marketing or healthcare-related field.

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in product marketing role s in cardiology, diagnostics, remote monitoring, or chronic disease management.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit balanced with collaborative style and professional maturity

  • Comfort operating in a matrixed, fast-paced environment with senior-level visibility.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$189,600.00 - $284,400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match , Short-term disability , Paid time off , Paid holidays , Employee Stock Purchase Plan , Employee Assistance Program , Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums) , and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
