Client Product Manager (Finance)

Prudential's Group Insurance (GI) Product organization is looking for a Customer Solution Consultant (CSC) with strong Disability, Absence and State Paid Leave expertise. The CSC will partner closely with the Distribution (sales) organization to support broker capabilities and customer finalist meetings. Post-sale, the CSC will leverage their Disability and Absence subject matter expertise to provide customer training, consult on best practices, and assist with claim remediation action plans. The CSC is expected to establish and maintain positive relationships with Claims and Distribution Leadership as well as with Premier and National Account customers, brokers/consultants, and internal business partners, resulting in a positive benefit experience that will ultimately increase customer persistency, sales revenue, and customer satisfaction. The incumbent will consult on product solutions that continually improve the customer experience

Travel is required and at peak sales season may be upwards of 50% of the time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct external facing presentations on Prudential's Absence & Disability products and services. Includes finalist meetings, capabilities presentations, customer training and systems demos.
  • Perform absence policy reviews and consult on process / plan changes
  • Partner with Product to influence the Disability & Absence value proposition, including marketing materials capabilities and finalist presentations that showcase Prudential's differentiators in the marketplace.
  • Facilitate timely resolution of systemic claims issues presented by customers and/or brokers
  • Presenting Group Insurance's full portfolio of products, services, and plan design information to meet customer needs
  • Addressing questions and concerns regarding any aspect of our product offering
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Group Insurance initiatives, driving continuous improvement and customer experience enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • 5 plus years of Group Insurance experience. Disability & Absence claims experience preferred.
  • Proven external broker/consultant relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of full portfolio of Group Insurance product offerings including Disability, Absence, State Paid Leave, ADA, Life and Supplemental Health services and strategies.
  • Knowledge of the overall marketplace needs and initiating actions that represent group insurance with integrity.
  • Understanding current industry practices and competitive intelligence.
  • Superior communication skills including oral and written.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to facilitate meetings.
  • Must exhibit a consultative approach with strong problem-solving skills, in complex situations or problems.
  • Expertise in relationship management with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail orientated individual with strong organizational and time management skills, and deadline driven.

This role can be virtual if not located within close proximity to a Prudential office.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $107,300.00 to $166,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
