SUMMARY
Genesis Products is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role offers high growth potential for the right candidate. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize equipment reliability, ensure effective maintenance execution, and drive preventative maintenance programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using advanced testing and measuring tools.
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, including installation, repair, adjustment, and calibration of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Inspect, measure, adjust, and calibrate equipment and components to ensure precision and operational efficiency.
- Lead and monitor preventative maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and ensure plant-wide equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with teams to promote maintenance best practices and continuous improvement.

- Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Advanced proficiency in blueprint reading and equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong background in mechanical, pneumatic, control, and electrical systems; experience with wood processing machinery preferred.
- Skilled in Root Cause Analysis, welding, and fabrication.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and resolve issues independently.
- Able to work in physically demanding environments with a track record of reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
