This position will assist in development and implementation of policies and procedures; conducting inspections, coordinating all regulatory documents; and oversight of key EHS programs. Responsibilities

  • Manage the safety shoe program, including updating eligibility records and ordering new footwear for colleagues.

  • Lead the annual audiogram program, which involves scheduling the mobile unit, coordinating appointments, reviewing results, and maintaining medical records.

  • Order and maintain first aid supplies across all designated areas.

  • Conduct monthly AED inspections in various departments.

  • Enter critical metrics like GEMBAs, Near Misses, Unsafe Conditions, and Corrective Actions into designated databases.

  • Coordinate and file colleague medical paperwork as required.

  • Schedule Industrial Hygiene monitoring to ensure compliance.

  • Manage Workers' Compensation paperwork and filing.

  • Perform weekly GEMBA walks to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.

  • Coordinate biometric screenings for colleagues.

  • Order and manage all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the EHS department.

  • Maintain regulatory documentation according to record retention guidelines.

  • Review and file submitted work permits on a weekly basis.

 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma: Associate degree in Business preferred.

  • Proven experience in administrative, clerical, and computer data processing.

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Access.

  • Demonstrated communication skills with experience working with diverse groups.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teams.

  • Capacity to handle high-stress situations, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • High level of integrity, diplomacy, and tact in daily interactions.

 

Desired

  • Administrative experience in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
