Epic Analyst - OpTime Anesthesia (Finance)



EPIC OpTime or Anesthesia EPIC Application Analyst - Responsible for the design, build, testing, validation, and support of the OpTime and Anesthesia modules within Vancouver Clinic. Involves collaboration with operational stakeholders and IS / IT staff to troubleshoot issues, capture requirements, enhance processes, and ensure ongoing stable operations via system upgrades and special updates.

This position is hybrid remote WA or OR only. Will require ability to be on-site frequently. Must be a resident of Washington or Oregon.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulates and defines system functionality and objectives through research and fact-finding to support the development, configuration, and support of information systems.
  • Prepares specifications, analyzes and revises existing system logic and creates documentation as necessary.
  • Responsible for communicating system changes to the principal trainers, management, and end users.
  • Actively participate and work with appropriate subject matter experts in all enterprise design, build, validation sessions, and ongoing upgrades.
  • Understand how workflow decisions translate to application configuration.
  • Provide support services including, but not limited to: high level applications software support, coordination of technical requests, system upgrade coordination, vendor liaison, and on-call coverage.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Must have EPIC OpTime / Anesthesia certification.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of information technology or Epic electronic health record experience in relevant healthcare or business area required.
  • Proven strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills.

Pay Range:
$76,687.00 - $115,031.00

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
